This simple, quick erecting (10 seconds) body shelter made from flame retardant
Non conductive PVC comes complete with built in fibre glass frame, 6 peg down
eyelets and 4 guylines for use in windy conditions.
Fully opened it measures 8ft long x 4ft wide approximately in the open position.
However by the removal of the central structure, one end can be inverted to give
half body protection. This allows for first aid to be administered whilst protecting
the remainder of the person
This tent measures 3ft 6 inches x 5 inches square when packed for storage in the

CSI Earth Bonding Lead Kit
This product is for use with the CSI Pathfinder ESL Machine.
Some surfaces can be difficult to lift from and contary to popular belief whereby it
is thought that you need more power to make a lift, what is actually required is
better earthing or grounding.
This kit comprises of a 3 metre grounding lead which attaches to the side of the
Pathfinder and an earth bonding adaptor that plugs into the wall socket. This then
allows the operator to use the earth or grounding of the building you are in. Pre
2004 models will also receive an additional earthing plate with this kit.
At present this product is only available in Europe hower we hope to be able to
have this kit ready for our North American customers by September 2005.

CSI Forensic Fingerprint Cabinet
The CSI Forensic Fingerprint Cabinet (FFC) has been designed to enable the quick
and easy visualisation of latent marks from a variety of exhibits.
Recently approved by the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (formally
known as PSDB) the cabinet uses the widely recognised technique of developing
prints with Ethyl Cyanoacrylate (CNA) or Superglue but encompasses this with full
automation and control of the cycle.
The installation of the cabinet is easy as it is totally self-contained and needs no
venting to the outside. Instead of external venting, the cabinet uses a large
capacity activated carbon filter to handle excess fumes. The only conection
required is to a standard 13amp electrical socket, so the unit can be sited almost
anywhere.
The FFC is intended for use at local level by local officers but can of course is
suitable for any crime lab. This means that exhibits can be taken direct to the
cabinet from the crime scene reducing the amount of handling and avoiding
possible mis-treatment and contamination as it is passed from person to person.
The exhibits will also avoid the sometimes lengthy process of being forwarded to a
centralised laboratory and can be processed with immediate results in the Police
Station.
Here in the United Kingdom following processing, marks developed are
photographed and cross-referenced with NAFIS. If the mark is identified the
offender will either be arrested or placed under surveillance, otherwise it can be
retained on the database until a match is made.
All this can now be completed in a matter of hours, rather than days, thanks to
the new Forensic Fingerprint Cabinet from CSI.

CSI Pathfinder ESL
The technique of Electro Static Dust Print Lifting (ESL) at crime scenes dates
back to the early 1970’s. It is the ability to retrieve dust shoe marks from floors,
carpets, upholstery where photography and conventional adhesive lifting film would
be ineffective.
The benefits of footwear lifting at crime scenes is fast becoming identified
as the way forward especially as many criminals today are 'forensic aware' and
take precautions not to leave fingerprints or DNA at the scene. However they must
leave footprints which is where the CSI Pathfinder has proved most invaluable.
The problem with ESL machines currently on the market is that they are bulky,
